I know [adult swim] doesn't do teen dramas, but I would be surprised if they did.I would love for Xilam to collaborate with Nelvana at least once. Especially with Warner Bros. Animation.
Now, the premise for Toon High is that Space Ghost lost his job as a talk show host, because his GameTap episodes didn't do so well, so now he works for the Sealab corporation to run a high school full of teenage Hanna-Barbera and DC characters, even Pebbles and Bamm Bamm, as well as the Teen Titans, and the DC Super Hero Girls, and watches their every move. The series follows Dorno Herculoid, Jan and Jace Bach, Brak, Judy Jetson, and Alan Mayberry in their everyday, yet cartoonish, teen lives.
Here's my dream cast for Toon High:
- Will Friedle as Dorno Herculoid (from the Herculoids): A person who is naive and awkward, and has a crush on Judy Jetson. He understands that Jan has a crush on him, but he only likes her as a friend.
- Mae Whitman as Jan Bach (from Space Ghost): The moody, cynical, sarcastic, angst-ridden, self-proclaimed goth girl, who has a crush on Dorno.
- Kyle Kaplan as Jace Bach (from Space Ghost): The nerd, and Jan's twin brother, who acts like Kevin from Mission Hill.
- Andy Merrill as Brak (from Space Ghost): The wild party animal and class clown, and is best friends with Dorno and Jace.
- Carleigh Beverly as Judy Jetson (from the Jetsons): The snobby popular rich girl.
- Christy Karacas as Alan Mayberry (from Josie and the Pussycats): The ladies' man and jock.
- Dee Bradley Baker as Zorak (from Space Ghost): The school's evil and insane teacher, and former band leader, and Moltar (also from Space Ghost): former director turned gym teacher.
- George Lowe as Principal Thaddeus "Space Ghost" Ghostal (from Space Ghost): A superhero who lost his job as a talk show host, and now runs the high school as their principal.
- Tom Kenny as Mr. Phillip Ghostbot: Space Ghost's new sidekick, and vice principal of the school.
- Scott McCord as Bamm-Bamm Rubble (from the Flintstones)
- Stephanie Anne Mills as Pebbles Flintstone (from the Flintstones)
- Cam Brainard as the Narrator
Judging by this picture, and what I just mentioned, especially the cast and character description, I'm sure you're all gonna say that this is a ripoff of MTV's Clone High. It might be, but not completely. It's only a lot more cartoonier. Think Space Ghost Coast to Coast meets Clone High. Toon High will also parody teen sitcoms, not just teen dramas, and even without the creators of Clone High, might be able to revive Clone High's spirit. I bet it'll be funnier than Fish Hooks.
To me, Fish Hooks is more of a Clone High ripoff in my opinion. Sure, this show will have same tropes as Clone High, including a robot vice principal, but this show will have different episode plots. The series should be animated in Flash at Elliott Animation Studios (known for animating the Total Drama series). Yes, the creators of Kim Possible would have involvement with this show too, and so will Mark Ackland. The character designs for Toon High should be provided by Joanna Davidovich, Carey Yost, Stephen Silver, and yes, even Todd Kauffman. Not sure if Butch Hartman would have involvement with this, since he probably didn't work much in adult animation before. Also, no, Chris Savino is not gonna have any involvement working on the show.
I wouldn't be surprised if if Richard Ferguson-Hull, Casper Kelly, and the people at France 3 and [adult swim] loved Clone High, that they wanted to make their own version, but totally different, even if it may have the same tropes. The show will air on France 3 in France, Detour (Teletoon's spin-off sister channel) in Canada, and [adult swim] in the United States, and will be rated TV-14. By the way, the robot in this picture is Phillip Ghostbot, Space Ghost's new robotic sidekick.
UPDATE: It was originally going to be on Teletoon at Night, but because the block shut down since 2019, it should be broadcast on Detour, a spin-off channel that Corus Entertainment should consider launching.

Perfect Hair Forever chars would fit right in with this, since Space Ghost DID present the first episode and cameo throughout the entire series.

Since Space Ghost Coast to Coast has the main characters from Aqua Teen Hunger Force guest star in the episode "Baffler Meal", I think they're probably also be part of Toon High's universe. (The Mooninites are characters from one of the character's favorite video games, which also have their own TV show, Spacecataz, based on the one-episode pilot spin-off of ATHF which has the Mooninites at war with the Plutonians)
Dr. Weird (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) and Steve (voiced by Tom Kenny) both were out of a job for years until Space Ghost found them and hired them to be science teachers. Or are they dead in Toon High?

It would make sense for characters from ATHF to be in the same universe as Toon High. I guess Dr. Weird and Steve might have jobs as science teachers in Toon High. Even DC characters might wanna share the same universe as Toon High as well.
