Cloverkit is born to Speckledsky and Eagleflight in their first little. She has one sister, Blossomkit, who she adores dearly. The two sisters are best friends from the get-go, swarming the clan and their denmates with love and affection. She immediately becomes close friends with Rootkit, one of the kits from Shalesteps litter. She finds the way the brown tabby talks funny but enjoys his company anyway! Even if he does chew on her ears!

When the weather turns snowy Rootkit becomes Rootpaw, leaving Cloverkit and Blossomkit the only kits in the nursery. Cloverkit is deeply upset by this, because she believes she's big now, and can be an apprentice too! Not fair! A bunch of strange cats join, and in the nursery jumps a ton of kits from the Rose Nest. Speckledsky ends up having to care for the majority of them, as she was the only queen in the clan at the time. Soon though, Mothdapple joins and helps by adopting Wildkit.

Cloverkit is thankful to have her mothers' attention back, even if it's just a bit.

[Apprentice]

Cloverpaw becomes an apprentice, and thanks to the warm weather the camp is decorated beautifully by her clanmates. Something shakes the land though, piercing fear through the clans hearts. More kits are born and Cloverpaw is thankful she wasn't around when the seven kits take over the nursery. Some kits that joined from the Rose Nest become apprentices, crowding the apprentices den a bit more. Vinethistle's kits also become apprentices, annoying Cloverpaw further as the apprentices' den is further crowded.

Blossompaw disappears one night, and returns that morning. Cloverpaw is upset, as she smells Highclan on her. She wonders if her sister was sneaking into other territories, but doesn't really question it. Certain her sister must have just been exploring.

Cloverpaw is renamed Cloverfleck, alongside her sister who is given the name Blossompetal. She becomes increasingly upset with her sister as she returns to camp again one morning, smelling of Highclan once more.
