Sorry for the late reply! Comments are fine then! I'll start for us then-
Snailkit had been quiet when he crept away from his mother and littermates and out of the den. He didn't want to wake them, but really needed some fresh air. Snailkit knew he'd never run off, and he hoped if Stellarbloom woke she wouldn't worry. He sat by the entrance anyway, so if she did awaken she could see him. Snailkit sat with a yawn, watching camp as it slowly came to life. His clanmates were waking up, and across camp he could see his uncle, Shadedwing. The gray and black tom seemed down, and Snailkit could somewhat understand why. It hurt that one of his cousins had passed, and he never really got to know them all that well.
Snailkit stretched out with a soft yawn, head tilting to the side. Now what?

Apologies for taking so long.
Basilkit had been sleeping on and off. He found sleep hard, as if someone was missing. Basilkit was tired of trying to go to sleep and it not working, so he thought he would get up. He could explore the camp while mom and his littermates were asleep. He looked at them to make sure they were asleep and found one of them were missing. Basilkit didn't want to get snailkit in trouble so he left his nest and walked towards the entrance, where he found snailkit.
"What are you doing?" basilkit whispered.
He walked up to snailkit and sat next to him. Basilkit looked out at the camp and was surprised to see it was dawn and the warriors were getting up. He thought he slept longer than he did. Basilkit didn't know why snailkit was awake. He wasn't going to let snailkit sit by himself.

Snailkit's fur ruffled slightly as he jump at the voice before he turned, realizing it was just his brother. Thankfully it didn't seem to be Apricotkit, who he figured would have made fun of him. Snailkit let his fur fall turning back to face camp.
''Oh I was watching Shadedwing. The warriors were getting up and I saw him, he looks sad.'' Snailkit scratched gently at one of his ears in thought before turning to his brother. ''Why'a ya up so early?''

Basilkit didn't like how scared snailkit looked. He didn't say anything, because he didn't know if snailkit would want him to pry. Basilkit respected his brother's wishes and if snailkit opened up to him, then basilkit would be there. He wanted to be there for snailkit and nothing more.
"Why are you watching shadedwing?" basilkit asked "is he a good warrior? Do you want him to be your mentor?"
Basilkit wanted a really good warrior to be his mentor. Basilkit wanted to be a really good warrior so it made sense he would want a good warrior too. He wanted his littermates to have good mentors too. He could go without if they got good mentors. He could even ask their mom to ask jasperstar about making shadedwing snailkit's mentor if snailkit wanted it that much.
"I am up early because i had trouble sleeping. I woke up and you were gone. I was worried" basilkit said. He wasn't scared of being honest.

Snailkit tilted his head softly as he listened before giving a shake of his head. He thought Shadedwing would be a nice mentor, but he already had an apprentice. He still would by the time they were old enough to train. He just couldn't help but worry.
''No, I am just worried about him. He seemed sad. I was wondering if I could do anything to make him feel better.''
He the turned his head back to his brother.
''No need to be worried. I needed some fresh air. It's a bit stuffy in here.''

Basilkit noted snailkit's shake of the head. So he didn't want shadedwing but he did look up to him. Basilkit knew they were kin but not how. He felt bad for not paying attention like snailkit was. His brother was always quiet but he took notice of things in a way he didn't. It was something basilkit felt jealousy over. It wasn't enough for him to feel bitter at snailkit for. He loved his brother too much.
"It is stuffy. The nursery isn't big enough" basilkit complained for the fun of it "we can think of ways to make him feel better. Then he won't feel so sad."
Basilkit didn't know what to do to make shadedwing feel better. He didn't have any ideas. Then again be didn't really know what was wrong with him. Maybe snailkit had a better idea.

Snailkit nodded quickly. Maybe it was just because Stellarbloom has such a big litter, and as they were getting bigger the den seemed so small. He couldn't imagine how the den would look when they were all big and ready to train!
''Maybe we could make him something! There are always lots of flowers growing around camp, we could make him a flower crown. Flowers usually cheer up cats, maybe it'll help him.'' Snailkit didn't really know what to do to make Shadedwing happy. He knew Shadedwing was sad but Snailkit was a bit too young to fully understand why. A flower crown wouldn't make things easier for Shadedwing but Snailkit didn't know that.
''What do you think?''

Basilkit liked the idea that snailkit had. He wished he thought of it, but he was lucky his brother was a good thinker. Flowers were pretty and basilkit was happy when playing or looking at them. He hoped that the flowers would make shadedwing happy. That way two cats would be happy because snailkit wouldn't have to worry about shadedwing too. Shadedwing might not be leader, but a paper crown would show his worth to everyone.
"That is a good idea snailkit. We can make one for mom too" basilkit said and he was proud of snailkits idea, "do you know how to make a flower crown? It sounds like that would be the hardest part"
He heard about flower crowns but he never made one himself. He wanted to look cool and strong so a good mentor would want to pick him. But he could not do warrior looking things to help his kin. His kin was extremely important to him. "Do you know anyone who makes them snailkit? Do you know how to make them?" basilkit asked.

''Well, we could get long strands of grass or bramble, and use mud to stick the flowers to the vines. If we use small dabs the mud will dry and keep the flowers stuck to the brambles. Then we just stick the ends together and it should stick! As long as we're gentle with it I don't think they'd come apart.'' Snailkit looked back at his mother and littermates still sleeping. It was still early, so he knew nobody would be up to help them.
''I guess if it breaks that's okay. We'll make him a better one when we're older. I'm sure we'll figure out better ways to make them more durable. Or, at least I think we will. Like our mentors will probably teach us cool stuff we could use.''
Snailkit crept out of the nursery and towards the side of camp where the flowers were sprouting. He wasn't quite big enough yet but his brother was bigger than him. He'd probably be able to get them some bramble to use.
''Would you get some bramble? I can start digging up a small bit of mud and we can pick what flowers to use together.'' He mewed over to Basilkit. He knew if they both worked hard on it, no matter what it looked like, Shadedwing would appreciate the gesture. Even if it fell apart.

It sounded very complicated. basilkit was jealous that snailkit knew so much about flower crowns when he didn't. He was up for it if it make his uncle happier and impressed his mom. It was early in the morning but basilkit thought they had enough light. He wanted to do this before his mom or littermates woke up to surprise them. Basilkit wanted to take control like a leader would but he didn't know what he was doing. Snailkit did and told him what to do so basilkit listened. He wanted to be good enough that he didn't need orders next time.
"Ok, i'll get the brambles. Don't worry you can rely on me snailkit" basilkit said
Basilkit walked out of the nursery and looked for brambles. There were some in camp but he didn't want to pick any old brambles. He needed to make sure they weren't attached to dens. He found small thin ones that looked like babies next to the bigger brambles. They were a good size for a head. Basilkit pulled them out of the ground and took them back to snailkit and asked "how are these?"

Snailkit had made his way to the flowers, and began to dig a bit next to them. He did so as carefully as his untrained paws could. If he made too much of a mess they'd get in trouble, but at the young age his movements weren't very precise. In the end his paws ended up bit muddy, but he'd collected what they needed. Though his paws hurt a bit from the digging; more work than they were used to. When he heard his brother the feeling was gone and excitement replaced it. This was gonna be so cool! Even if it didn't look good!
''Oh, that's perfect! Or at least I think. I'm still not quite sure what we're doing but those should do.'' Snailkit purred softly, grinning up at his brother before he looked at the flowers. ''Which ones should we choose? I kinda like this yellow one.'' He plucked up the yellow flower, which reminded him a bit of a daisy.

Basilkit was happy that snailkit liked his brambles. It looked like he had an easier time than his brother. Snailkit was all muddy but basilkit wasn't. Basilkit didn't have to dig and the small brambles were easy to pull out. He felt bad that snailkit had to do all the hard work. But snailkit had a done a good job and the flowers he had were pretty. Basilkit looked at the flowers and he saw how excited snailkit was about the yellow ones. They looked pretty and yellow was a good colour. Basilkit smiled and knew he wanted to pick those ones too.
"The yellow ones are bright and they would be the best" basilkit decided and he smiled at snailkit. "we don't have to do just one colour. We can do more than one if we have enough flowers" basilkit said but he didn't really know if they could do more than one colour. He never made a flower crown but yellow flowers weren't too different from blue and red ones.

Snailkit shook his head softly. Yellow always seemed like a bright, happy color. When he looked at yellow flowers they made him feel giddy, so he hoped they'd do the same for their uncle. However he knew he didn't want to be the only ones picking flowers and wanted Basilkit to help him out as well. It wouldn't mean as much if they both didn't have a say.
''You choose another color then! If we put ours together it'll be even more meaningful because we both worked on it really hard.'' Snailkit replied with a nod of affirmation.

"With our two colours we will make shadedwing cheerful in no time" basilkit said. He was happy that his suggestion was taken on board and snailkit would listen to him too. It made snailkit the best brother ever, not that he would say that out loud. His mom would be angry if basilkit picked favourites. They all had to be fair.
"I don't know what coloured flowers around around here. I never looked" basilkit said. He felt bad for not being able to help more, but figured snailkit would be able to help. He was the brains of the operation.

Snailkit nodded happily. He sure hoped the flower crown would make their uncle happy, even if it wasn't the best quality. He figured when they were older they could make him a new and improved one! Until then, at least they were putting their heart into it, and that's what mattered most of all. Snailkit let his gaze fall back to the flowers, searching through them. There weren't many like he figured there would be outside camp, but they had enough to pick from either way.
''Well, we could go with pink cause Pink and Yellow always look good. Or,'' Snailkit blinked at the flowers before them. There was a small, almost baby blue flower. ''Yellow and Blue could be pretty. It's up to you which one you want though.'' He purred over to his brother.

"Lets do a yellow and pink one. Blue can be sad and we want shadedwing to be happy" basilkit said.
He left the nursery and looked for pink flowers. They were harder to find than the yellow ones but basilkit didn't give up. He would be letting down shadedwing and snailkit if he did. He found pink ones by a bush that surrounded camp. Basilkit grabbed a lot of them in case he made a mistake and to make sure he got a lot of pretty ones. He could decorate snailkits nest with the leftovers. Basilkit ran back to the nursery and showed snailkit the flowers. "We have lots here, enough for our uncle and mom" basilkit said. He was proud of himself.

Snailkit waited until Basilkit returned, and while he waited he began to loop the brambles into a circle. He wasn't sure how big to make it, but voted for a bit bigger than smaller. Snailkit looked up and when he did he was happy to see Basilkit returned with a good pick of yellow flowers. Not that he ever doubted his brother! Yellow and Pink would be perfect, and hopefully it cheered Shadedwing up.
''Awesome! Now we can start putting the flowers on! I'm not quite sure how they go, but, I figured we can just place them on however we want and chew off the excess stem.'' Snailkit gently scratched at an ear before he began to place a small bit of the mud onto the twined brambles, and placed one of the yellow flowers on it. Chewing off the extra stem, he was glad to see the yellow flower fit, well almost perfectly, on the brambles.
''I guess that works?''

Snailkit was so smart and basilkit never realised. He was still jealous but was feeling more happy for his brother. If he kept being around snailkit then maybe snailkit would make him smarter too. Snailkit said they had to ad the flowers on and he watched snailkit use mud and move the stem until the flowers stayed on. He watched carefully to make it right, not just for shadedwing and mom but for snailkit too. After snailkit showed him how to do it, basilkit grabbed a flower and tried.
It was hard to use his teeth and paws like that. Basilkit was used to running and pouncing. He got the hang of it because the flowers he helped put on stayed. Basilkit puffed out his chest and grabbed more of the flower he gathered. He helped snailkit put them all on and admired the bright flower crown.
"looking at this makes me happy. It will certainly make shadedwing happy" basilkit said.

Snailkit nodded quickly, a wide and bright grin taking over his maw. The crown was messy, but Snailkit knew their incle would appreciate the thought more than the outcome. However Snailkit, in his eyes, thought it was the best thing ever. With a grin he raised his paw, patting Basilkit.
"Good job us! We did it!" Snailkit hopped gently and quietly on his paws, not wanting to awake the rest of his family.
"Thanks for your help, Basilkit! We make a good team!"

Basilkit was so proud of himself and of snailkit. They made a really good crown, something to really cheer their uncle up. It could be better and some of the flowers hung loosely, but basilkit knew he and snailkit could make a better one with practice. When they were older they could give shadedwing more crowns, or maybe even some for their mom and littermates. "We are the best team" basilkit said happily and he nudged snailkit with a shoulder. He felt closer to snailkit as well as their uncle.
