This is an "outtake" picture from the same beetle that I was photographing here . He was doing that cute, little thing with his legs that beetles tend to do when they feel threatened. I was trying to pick him up so I could put him back in the grass where he was a little safer, but he wasn't so thrilled about being pushed around on to my finger! XD
