Description
I had to draw this little guy from this different angles while looking at it through a handheld magnifying glass (a rather old and bad one). It was such a great model though, it only moved once. A simple illustration in colored pencils, graphite and pointillism with ink.Related content

Damn, that's really good, but you actually drew it in front of you. As much as I love spiders, if I saw this one, I would've screamed the house down let alone sit down to draw it. You're very good at traditional art. You've really sketched the angel of the pose perfectly and the colours blend wonderfully. It's arse resembles a watermelon.

Luckily this particular spider was about the size of an a American dime. Any bigger and I would be running out of the house along with you LOL. The size of its "arse" (LOL) kinda took me by surprise to be honest. Also didn't expect it to have silvery shine to it. Im trying to find a wasp for the next study .

Great colors and truly a beautiful species. I'm especially fond of the black/white version in the bottom left. Great detail on the legs and capturing the 'movement' of of a spider.

The bottom left illustration is my favorite as well. Pointillism definitely has its own charm. Thank you .
