Description
So, I looked back on my Huntress piece with my Cyclops redesign, a sketch I had taken a liking too, and was disappointed in the rush job I'd done with it. Thus, I decided to go back, from scratch ( the bare sketch ) and put more time and effort into doing things right, not haphazardly as before. I spent about an hour just working on the colors and detail on the Battlemechs, as part one of 'Hunted', the final battle on Huntress.

The Cyclops here-seen belongs to Ariana Winston, leader of the Eridani Light Horses mercenary company, and the acting head of Task Force Serpent during Operation Bulldog, after the death of Morgan Hasek-Davion. Her Cyclops is leading the final charge against the nearly annihilated Smoke Jaguar clan forces on Huntress. A neutralized Raven in the foreground serves as a viewing platform for the pilot of said Raven, as he watches the ill-fated final charge. I really liked the Twilight of the Clans series, third only to The Blood of Kerensky, and the Warrior Trilogy in my opinion as a huge Battletech geek This was one of the defining scenes in the book, which also featured my favorite examples of pseudo-realistic Starship combat.
