Description
Heavy rains and whipping wind follow a storm in the Morrison area, during the Jurassic. A pair of Allosaurus cock their heads and listen to the sounds of thunder, and are ill at ease as lightning lances across the sky above them. A wandering Apatosaurus ajax, caught alone as the rain set in, raises its neck and watches the sky as storm winds pull at the forest's trees around them.

Just some more paleoart I knocked out in my free time. I liked the idea of dinosaurs caught out in a storm, and showing these animals in a world in which the forces of nature were larger than them, rather than them being snarling at one another and larger than life. And I got to draw more A. fragilis artwork; With Allosaurus essentially being my favorite dinosaur, this was a plus.
