ooh, you GOT one again! Beautifull!

I've decided I want to try and conquer my fear, and I want to shoot one. So there I've spent half hour outside, going to the frontyard. Looking for bees and bumblebees and wasps whatever. NOne. And then back in the backyard. Without having charged the camera a bumblebee flew into me, hit top of my head and flew off. Darn eh?
NB I had protected myself with my hoodie firmly over my head, with even the laces pulled so tight (blotebillengezicht)

One day though. One day!

Thank you!

Haha, spending half an hour usually isn't enough... I spend 3 or 4 hours in our backyard alone today finding new kind of things like "Higher".

It takes a lot of time

aww poor bumblebee, lol it also helps planting some flowers that attract them, like hyacinths

yes, a lot of time.
I don't have anything like that in the backyard, because I've always been so afraid of em.
Not sure too I'll do that anytime soon. What with 2 dogs too, and us wanting to spend time outside, fly-ees are just too much bother there. however, my neighbours got a SUPERB garden. I'm going to see to get in there for some shots!

Great shot. What I like best is the bee has its face stuck deep into the bud. Never seen it quite like that before. And the pretty blue flowers.
