A grey heron freezing its arse off in the snow. he could actually walk over the ice so he wasn't so fast to fly away.snow and ice is very useful in many different ways

i'm in southern maryland- we have gotten an unreal amount of snow!
i'm pretty excited about it though, it's the first time we've gotten storms like these.

we are the lucky ones- haven't lost power and our main roads have gotten plowed
(and an awesome friend helped get my snowblower running- hadn't been used in years...)

nee, helemaal niets... klein beetje harlingers geouwehoer maar dan houdt het snel op
haha geen idee, denk dat ze wel redelijk innovatief zijn, hij stond bij een bruggetje waar het nog niet bevroren was... totdat ik er aan kwam. toen begon hij te lopen.

mostly marine birds, from which ihave a couple samples in my gallery, and a lot of small small birds. The coolest ones are traros, which are somewhat similar to ospreys, and condors, about whose i'm sure you've heard of before

Heel mooi detail en licht. Ik vind het wel een beetje jammer dat zijn poten er niet helemaal opstaan. Maar toch een heel mooie foto!

Dank je wel, zn poten liggen daar hemelaal onder het sneeuw van dat punt, dus opzich is het geen gemis ze waren niet meer zichtbaar dan op de foto hier. Nogmaals bedankt!

Lol.. Yeah it is. Uninsulated building with wood floors and open crawlspace. Just a little space heater which gives off heat about 1 foot around it. Sometimes I even sit on it. lol.
