It's very pretty, especially in the autumn where the maple trees all turn red and orange.

There's lots of outdoor things to do like hiking and mountain climbing. Down the middle of the state are mountains, the most famous of which is mount mansfield which from a distance looks like the face of a man laying on his back.

Sounds beautiful, when I go to the United States for the first time I want to go to the most beautiful place around. It sounds like Vermont is a place like that.

A couple of other places to consider are Yosemite and the rockies. I'm not sure where's the best place to see the rockies, but I remember going to Glacier national park and Yellowstone when I was younger.
