Small worlds part IIIThis is a very small patch of plants, I do not know the type of plant.

I'm not sure how I feel about the distinct lack of focal point...but the lighting/colors and DOF are gorgeous!

Just took a photo, gave it more space. It's quite hard to get a good shot, because it is really very very small... The grass you see is probably 5 times smaller than the length of a human nail

Wow, that's about 5x smaller than what I would have guessed. That's a mighty impressive macro lens you must have.
I think I like this updated version even more. There's something going on in the upper left corner, but the angle is more effective and the eye travels through the image a bit better.

Thank you very much, it's hard to get the right depth of field in such a small area. I'll take a pic of where those little plants are in, so you get an idea of the scale.

Ik ben een beetje aan het zoeke wat er allemaal goed is enzo
waarmee ik het resultaat kan krijge die ik wil
maar ik koop binnekort een Canon EOS 50D
en dan de Sigma 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 DG macro
best goedkoop lensje maar kan ik goed mee oefenen met verschillende soorte fotografie
en geen probleem man ^^

Heb ook een hele tijd een goedkope telelens gehad, het verschil is wel erg groot vergeleken met de wat duurdere. De focus is vaak niet heel erg scherp...
Maarja als je een stap hoger gaat dan zit je gelijk rond de 500 euro, dat is wat ik betaald heb voor mn Canon 70-200L

als ik er een wil met bijvoorbeeld beeldstabilisatie gaat me dat weer heel wat kosten.
maarja ik ging liever eerst voor de camera dan een dure lens ^^

ik ben niet een groot voorstander van beeldstabilisatie, ik heb bewust voor de versie zonder gekozen
mijn fotos worden altijd met een snelle sluitertijd genomen, dan is beeldstabilisatie overbodig. En ze vragen er belachelijk veel voor.
Kan je beter je hand trainen een beetje stiller te houden

lens tot 300mm zoom gaat.
Maar opzich denk ik ook wel dat ik hem goed stil kan houden^^

tot 300mm ja, maar die lens is gemaakt voor de 1.6x crop... dus die gaat inderdaad maar tot 300mm
De 50d heeft volgens mij ook de 1x6 sensor crop
mijn 70-200 is gemaakt voor fullframe dus eigenlijk voor mijn 1.6x crop camera is het een 112-320mm
En ja ik ben de founder haha
