I hate year one because how short batman gaunlets is and currupt police. The bob Kane first appearance was better

I think year one was a good story when I was about 16 and was on a frank miller kick (TDKR, sin city, etc). Then I grew up (lol). I also watched the animated movie of year one and to be honest I found it boring. Frank miller cant write a wholesome hero they always have to have a edge. All his characters are whores or rapists and god knows what else. I think Chris Nolan saw the best in year one for BB, M-SEIJIN has a good point about Gordon if in the movie he cheated U would've seen him in a scumbag roll. Nolan is trying to show U there is a need for batman because of how corrupt the city is, so for Gordon to be the one person batman trusts to help him, how could they have made Gordon a cheat. The audience would have hated Gordon. Tbh honest after so much dark and serious batman over the years I think he should go back and join the fantastical world again. That's y im looking forward to BvS to see a more comic book style batman.
