If you view the photographer's profile he's from Singapore so the picture's probably taken there too... and I live in Singapore and the road and traffic lights look familiar.

It is Singapore. It's the intersection of Orchard road and Grange road, towards Cairnhill road. Tourists might find it familiar because on the left, you see the Singapore visitor centre. Duck tours and everything. The building with the Chinese characters is Orchard shopping centre. The give away is the 313, for 313 Somerset.
