Description
A few days ago, I got an email from friend and blogger David Lee Tong saying someone just accused me of photo theft! On the comments section of his blog where he feature me in the past, this guy claimed I stole his friend’s photo – that of 2 girls running barefoot in the rain. He further stated that his friend has the original raw file to prove it, ending with the words “danny is a copycat.”I was shocked beyond belief.

Wow, how ridiculous. I suppose you can try to find it flattering?
How embarrassing for the guy who confronted you... I bet he felt pretty foolish defending the honor of a liar. tsk tsk.

That story was a great read. Have you considered using TinEye to find art thieves elsewhere?

I was realy excited while I was reading the the story. Real detective story.
All of social networks are connected now, so it's truly much easier to do work like this. But at the same time it's more dangerous, because anybody can steal your folio. Thanks to that bad guy, you did all that work and unmasked villains. As we ukrainians say "All that is done, all the better"
You took good shots, I already told you about it and asked to upload your photos in bigger resolution. So now I think, you should put a signature everywhere before posting.
Best wishes

Daaaw I was hoping your unwatermarked beauties would somehow stay protected form the cruel stealing world. But alas, no one is immune. Never stop what you love though, cause us respectable people will ALWAYS appreciate it.

have to say, it is unbelievable i am a fan of your work from only a few months ago and i found the story amazing, yet thinking thoroughly if the girl's friend have not say anything she would still be taking credit for all those pictures, and the friend thinking it was the right thing blew it, Ironic isn't it?

God, the nerve of some people. Why get praise for something you stole? It's like getting a prize for something someone else won.

Not be a professional photographer and only shoot as a hobby, I am curious why she said having a 'raw' file is proof?
I took one of my jpg into PS and was able to save it in PS"RAW' extension but without all the 'header data'.
BTW,I am happy you were able to proof her as the liar.

Glad it worked out all right for you though !
