She's Stranger #77 - Atika [link]She's one of the most beautifully striking faces I've photographed in my "Portraits of Strangers" project last year. I was fortunate enough to have a photo shoot with Atika just last weekend.

Thats not ISO noise, they're freckles But looking at his focal length, 85mm, 1/80 second is about the slowest shutter he would want to use handheld to avoid camera shake. So given the low light, I'm guessing a high ISO was unavoidable and actually, ISO noise is barely evident in the shot..

ISO 2500 for me seems to be too much (looking at noise on neck, btw I like freckles ), but on the other hand, I don't have experience with larger focal lengths in low light conditions and don't know how much shake it causes so *dannyst probably get the best of it.

Holy crap I've never seen so many freckles. She's like a speckled pickle, except.. really hot.
Man.. it must be the photo-editer side of me but I have a strong urge to just clone-tool them all away lol.

I absolutely love this! I love the dark lighting and the look on her face. Her freckles are just so beautiful. And you framed it perfectly. Great shot!

nice to see you work with one person and explore the images you can find in them - I actually like the thumbnail a bit more than full view because it blends her freckles into more of a shadow and fits the overall feeling

Agh, stunning. I saw this on Facebook a bit ago and loved it immediately. She's already fairly unique looking, but obviously the freckles make her even more out of the ordinary - in a good way. It's a simple portrait, but lovely; nice lighting and her expression fits it. Well done, as usual.
