This is the point in the story where her male counterpart/rival/love intrest pops up out of nowhere fireing a high-power beam weapon that blasts the Alienesque monster behind her, and she then gets mad at him for saveing her saying that she could've handled it herself, but is secretly grateful that he rescued her.
She looks like a Samus/Lara Croft blend and her opponent looks like a Preditor with an Alien body. Very comic book coverish.

I'm about to get really technical and nerdy. It's a hydralisk, because of the tail like thing it's standing on, you can barely see it. And the blades are longer than a zergling's.

also, it's much taller than a zergling, and Kerrigan as well. in the story, it says that the zergling is only about the size of a medium sized dog.
