Surprise led the boy towards one of the larger tents, babbling away about the carnival life and how he was, once again, moved by the family spirit that was keeping them all together. Zee continued to try and cut it, but every word was drowned out. "Ah, my boy! The Amusement Park surely is the happiest place in Osar, don't you think? No, the world! Truly! One big happy family, all together!" Surprise said eagerly, moving the flap to the tent aside.
"Yeah, but, Surprise, there are people in need in the city and the only way anything is going to change is if I leave and- OOF!" Zee was cut short as Surprise's cane was smacked into his stomach quite hard. "Look at it, Zee. My circus. She's my pride and joy, and your family since you were a pup."
