Wonder Woman would avenge the brutal killing of Superwoman by Contessa Veleno. She assumed the only reason Veleno could kill Superwoman was because of the kryptonite. She was dead wrong. Many told her so.
"She KILLED Superwoman! What do you think she'll do to you? You stupid cow!"
The Contessa doesn't attack a superheroine unless she KNOWS she'll destroy her target with ease. Her latest cyber suit made he much stronger and faster than Wonder Woman. So, in front of a sold out crowd hungry to watch the death of Wonder Woman it was over as soon as it began!
