Wonderful work! The environment and colors are absolutely beautiful, but my favorite thing about this is the character's "what in the world is that" expression, haha! You really captured a feeling of not being surprised, exactly, but definitely caught off guard.

Thank you! It was a bit of both actually. Started with a textured brush to lay in values and colors, then a foliage brush in certain areas to give more texture. Then afterwards I went over everything with texture brush/round brush to finalize it.
