I was very scared when taking this picture... my footing was questionable at best, it was raining, and there was at least a 40' drop to boulders to my left... to top that off, the rocks that were ahead of me were slanted and slick.... scary stuff! This was taken in Smugler's Notch area, VermontCanon Digital Rebel XT

I must say it is a beautiful place! Maybe not quite as beautiful as Greece, but for this part of the united states... It's awesome! I wanted to go back there this year, but I don't have enough vacation time left at work

when going up steep hills or rocks.
run up on four legs and always have a dog with you. mine always finds really pretty places.

I can't wait to go back to this place... I think there is a lake near the top of this mountain that may have been feeding this set of falls.... I believe that it's named "Lake of the Clouds" or something similar... either way, I need to get there!!!

I never thought about telling people where I was going... usually because I had no clue where I was... I just kinda roamed around the state... It definately would have been safer to tell people... but that would be thinking.... and that doesn't come naturally to me
