The first movie was awful. It was better near the end, where Po fought the snow leopard. This was like a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
Overall, the game was better. The Kung Fu was overrated, and offered little in creativity.

Do you have any tricks or tips, thought process, pre-planning methodology about making them this good? I may have to design some soon. I'm curious if there's actually a way about it that's not so obvious.

These designs are great. I'm really excited about KFP2. It was one of my favorite animated films in the past little bit even more so than 'Up' which I couldn't get into. Story boarding that final fight scene must have been hard but they pulled it off very convincingly.
