What, you want an explanation for this? Who or what changed Elliot into Nanase's form and why they would do such a thing? Heck, I don't know. Bored aliens? A disgruntled wizard? Cursed character creation menu from a video game? Anything's possible. Take your pick.
All I know for certain is that I've been wanting to draw characters from the comic morphing into other characters from the comic, and for some reason I thought of Elliot and Nanase (from the comic, as opposed to other Elliots and Nanases). How am I supposed to know why my brain does what it does? That guy's crazy.

I love the sparkles. More magic/transformations in EGS should have sparkles. I also like the way the colors are slowly shifting in images 2 & 3, and I like the pose in panel 4.

Heh, well with his new abilities it is entirely possible that something just caused them to go haywire or his headspace caused them to react weirdly as they have before, though that could lead so some weird/awkward sitcommy situations if it actually happened in the comic itself...

Sparkles? Huh, usually EGS transformations are more glowy.
Also, while there are obvious changes all over the body, that certain color change patch makes it look like the transformation started off in a oddly appropriate part of the body for a TG.

Better explanation, an alternate universe where Elliot and Nanase stayed together after she discovered his(and/or her) alternate identities.
As an engagement gift, Tedd gave them clone forms of each other. He forget to tell them that when one changes, both change.
