You're not slow on the uptake; I just made the credit text really small and in a color that merges with the image. My goal was to make it unobtrusive, but I should have gone more specifically for "unobtrusive but noticeable" given the meme potential of these images

Holy Guacamole! Dan Shive Drew this? The artist/creator of one of my favorite Web Comics El Goonish Shive!? I knew you were into the show thanks to the sketchbook post you did with Ted and Grace, and the little 'hints' like the 20% Cooler quote.
But I've seen this picture like twenty times and never knew it was YOU who drew it. That just brings a whole new level of awesome to it!

I prefer to think that she can move her eyes independently and sometimes more than one thing will randomly catch her attention.

Assuming her condition is specifically lazy eye, AKA Amblyopia? Well, for one thing, she'd be a pegasus with seriously diminished vision in at least one eye, possibly affecting depth perception and DEFINITELY affecting her ability to navigate while flying. General hand-eye coordination would also be affected, and she apparently has (or at least *had*) a job helping ponies move, which would involve a fair amount of that.
I'm also certain that anyone who has to deal with lazy eye would consider pretty serious, even if it's not directly life threatening

Wow. I downloaded this from /co/ but never read the attribution text (in that insane light blue that I would have needed IrfanView's gamma slider just to see). It's one of my fave Derpy pics.
I had no idea it was by the comic artist I've been reading for the past decade, whose webcomic was the first I ever archive-binged (Gene Catlow was the second), and whose storylines and art I am enjoying.

Thanks! Yeah, I generally try to keep the attribution text unobtrusive and almost invisible. I don't want it to take away from the image, but I also want it to be somewhere on the image. I suppose I should make it more visible when I am knowingly making something with meme-potential
