I love this-I actually just downloaded the game on the PS store and have been playing it. Always one of my favorite PS2 titles. This piece is simple, yet says a lot, which I think is the essence of that story.

Really nice style and feel on this piece, the texture on the cloth is quite nice too. And the distant tower/mountain ads a dark tone to the story of the painting.

I agree- you did nail the old fantasy style. Very beautiful. A little bit eerie, too. Reminds me a little bit of what you'd see in a Dark Tower illustration.

Normally i go for bright and colourful fantasy paintings, but this is an expection. I love the colours here too, I think it's really hard to paint with dimmer colours and not make it look dull Great!
