*gags in corner* Oh dear god. OK so Syron 2010 vs Syron 2014 at almost exactly 4 years apart. I cant even stand looking at the first one, HALP. But yeah, 4 years of self-taughtnessness and thats what you get I guess.Both arts by me (that first one though is pretty damn bad)

Yeah, "self-taughtnessness", right. -_- And every time I ask that "self-toughened" persons they are fail miserably to tell HOW exactly they got this crazy skills and WHAT exactly they do to get them, and mostly it turns out what just another art school afforded by their parents where they got all the skills. -_- So, here I call bull on you so proclaimed "self-taughtnessness" all together. -_- Just told what art school that was and stop pretend to be something you are not.

too bad im digitally self taught. sorry if that's not what you want to hear. I go to school for programming (game Design) at the University of Colorado. I do have old examples of work cataloged of my progress between those time frames if you want more proof.
To be entirely fair, i have taken ONE art class at pikes peak community college for figure drawing as a bit of a brush-up. That was during 2012.

So, that is an answer, another art school again. -_- Even if it game design it still a design and that's THEY are who tough you all the skill you had. -_- Like I said stop pretending to be something you are NOT! It also very clear through your journals what you have extremely poor time management and can't balance things right, so, for you to be something of "self-taught" that's another proof what you taught NOTHIG by yourself and only that game design university give you all the skills.
Fucking tired of you art school kids to call yourself "self-taught" while have professional art education! If you thing that made you sound cool, than no it didn't it just show how hypocrite you are and what life is so much easier when you have a freakishly rich parents to bought you anything you want while you don't even move a finger to achieve something on your own!

my game design program does not have a Visual art department. I am currently the only artist in the entire degree program.
Gonna be real with you kid (and apologies if its blunt), with an attitude like this toward others, especially those of us who did not have the luxury (or money) to go to an art school to do what we do, and had to work twice as hard as trained artists to get to the same place, then you're going to have a very foul experience on deviantArt. I for one do not appreciate you discrediting the hard work I've done to get where I am and discrediting anyone else who has.
Get a reality check. I earned my quality of art not through talent, not through training, but YEARS of dedication of hard work, developing projects, failing thousands of times, and fighting through struggle. If you have a problem with this, then kindly do yourself a favor and get off this website, as there's no place for someone who has a closed-minded approach to this creative community.
And you know what? I joined my game design program in January of 2015. This Draw it again Meme was done in 2014, an entire year before I started. Prior to that degree, I was a structural engineer with 0 design focus.
So, kindly, go check yourself before someone else does. Speaking as a working professional in the industry, if you keep up your attitude, you're in for a serious wake up call (and possibly from a potential employer.)

The new design more fit the "casual" times or something like that. The old design works best in missions and such.

Well both are current. In the new one, i just detailed hair and body more while the outfit is off, but the 2012 outfit is actually still up to date
