Farewell My Dear - Luke Richards
"The goodbye no one wants to say is the hardest goodbye of all"
Someone, had to draw it. For me, this was one of the most intense moments of a Sonic Game (although it is from a rather lousy game). Blaze sacrifices her life to seal Iblis away, and the final little moment between her and Silver is one that isn't easily forgotten. Nothing like seeing your best friend/partner fade away forever right before your very eyes knowing there is nothing you can do to stop it.
I figured that depicting this stand-off with more emotion was really required to do this particular cutscene justice. Did it?
Fun picture to do. I was messing with some other color techniques (and the goddamn color profile problem).

Despite all the Bullsh*t I had to play through in Sonic 06... this is the only part I felt True sorrow for any of the characters, and it was Silver. (my favorite, I may add)
Β other than the sorrow I had for ALL the main characters being forced to star in this game.

I would find this depressing if it wasn't for the fact that not only Blaze had no reason to be there to begin with nor had any explanation storywise about why but she was just thrown into that severely flawed and illogically written game just for the sake of capitalizing her immediate popularity from Rush and she was basically casted aside most of the time, making her involvement, again rather muted. I despise that game for ruining her big chance to make her first 3D appearance relevant and memorable and Blaze is my top favorite Sonic character ever since 2005.

well, the main problem of this game is that it missed all its potential, despite being full of bugs and having one of the most annoying character of all video game history (princess Elise) plus the remake of eggman who looked like if he took a big diet, no fat or sugar,
not to mention the "affair" between Elise and Sonic
I think you would understand why sonic fans got angry back in 2006

Well, with all what you said, it seems like it's even worst than I expected. I had already about that one of Sonic and Elise and if I already hadn't a ship with Sonic (sonamy), I think it' s a little bit sick a relationship with a human and a mobian, it's like an owner dating with their dog. But anyway, I would just like to play the part with Silver and Blaze, so I could know them a little better.

This is sad, after when Blaze sealed Iblis, she wanted Silver to use Chaos Control on her, but he refused, then suddenly, something happened to Blaze, she had risen to the stars as a rocket heading towards the moon. Silver knew he wouldn't see her again.
