Also odd to think how few new characters really became his friends in Z and Super as opposed to Dragon Ball, vs most new characters are either enemies, or family.

I always wondered why Android 21 has the same features as Majin Buu.

Because the Gero machines took some of the Buu particles and despite Buu being a magic creature were able to splice them in. It is explained this is what resulted in her instability and caused her to split into a good form and a bad form.
-fan rumor is the newer canon version may be more stable than the FighterZ version due to (and no official source on this rumor) possibly also having Beerus cells in her due to that one time he bled and apparently the Gero other lab sample fly bots are just everywhere apparently.
