Description
A long hot day walking in the sun, climbed Carn Dearg (1020m), across to Ben Nevis (1344m), then over the ridge to Carn Mor Dearg (1220m), then back down the valley to Glen Nevis. This was taken from the south side of Ben Nevis, around 1100m up, looking back at the summit of Carn Dearg, the first peak of the day, you can see the trig point on the summit

Oh I think it more than balanced itself out a while back when we got caught in an 80mph hailstorm at the top of a mountain, it flooded my bag and killed my old Canon 5d. You win some, you lose some

My goodness! That must have been tough and you're smiling about it. How did you keep from blowing off the mountain?
