i finished the game this past sunday (in which everyone seemed happy except poor ol' MELLY), and for some reason, i always seem to root for the wrong possible couple in RPGs. has happened with tales of symphonia, arc rise fantasia, and now xenoblade. AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG
melia is my favorite character but she sure is the definition of LIFE IS KIND OF SUCKS SOMETIMES (in regards to what happened to her father, mother, brother, and...her people 8| ). then i saw this: [link] and my heart melted.
i wanted to experiment with the "coloring" this time and thought it was fitting to do only shades of grey. IT'S OK MELIA YOU CAN ALWAYS CUDDLE WITH RIKI, RIGHT? D:sketch is here: [link]

almost Everyone supports her and shulk, Her brother( It is up to you, you and shulk), Dickson( May he'll be your boyfriend next time), and probably more if I looked into it. Dam you Nintendo.

Poor Melia just couldn't catch a break through the whole game. I was rooting for her right from the instant she seemed to have feelings for Shulk. Yet despite all the crap she went through, she remained strong. She definitely had some of the best development and character moments in the game, and she's my favorite character in the game next to Riki.

No I think a lot of us got suckered into rooting for them, because THE GAMES MAKES YOU WANT TO (why would they do that?!?!? ughhh)

heh, for tales of symphonia, lloyd and sheena, and in arc rise fantasia, i liked adelle better than ryfia... i know, adelle gets kind of...irrational, but at least she had more of a personality than BORING ryfia. oh well...it's my curse.
