That was awesome. Coupled with the sound it goes perfectly. Good use of simple colors mixed with quick motions and odd angles to really make it dynamic. I particularly am fond of the section with "you can RESPOND:", as well as the trailing "no".

Yep, I do animations I have to do a little bit of everything digital graphics for my major.
Yeah I'm just hoping talent can make up for some of my flaws. I'm horrible about deadlines, and I'm very unpredictable, moody and often unreliable.

I used After Effects for most of it. I did the planning comps in photoshop. XD Will I can't really slow it down, but I could probably tweek some parts to hold on the text longer and make the transitions faster. >_< Though when it's played with audio it's not as big of a concern to me because you can still hear him say it even though in some areas it's too fast to read. XD

i c ... well with the audio i had no problem at all... but without it, for dA, you might slow it down if you wish. i really loved it ... i will try to get my hands on after effects

I'll probably only do this sorta thing for class. I don't particularly like doing it. It's very tedious and time consuming and I'd rather be lazy.

I made it in After Effects.
I started with storyboard sketches. Then went on to doing still comps in photoshop of what certain areas of the animation should look like at given points. for parts of the animation. I think I had around 40 comps. Then I went into aftereffects and animated it. I used a lot of custom tweening and tweeking. Took awhile to do.

I remember in my tv production class we had after effects, the teacher himself didn't even know how to use the program. I asked him about it and he told me to figure it out for myself, so I tried. Now I know a lot about how to work with photoshop, and premiere pro, but jesus was after effects complicating, he didn't have the book either.

That happens sometimes, they have the course but no teacher wants to teach it. So then you get someone that was assigned the role even though they aren't qualified.
But at least you can teach yourself, that is a really good skill to have. I'm pretty bad about teaching myself, but I'm pretty good at remembering how to do things after someone has showed me.

hehe, i bet it did. but it came out great.
same thing happened to me with the DN video i made. i had to use a lot of GIFs and at some point had to repeat one atleast 7 times so that the image stayed longer with a certain part of the song.
