Title: Wolverine Unleashed - XMenDescription: So I was watching the 3rd XMen movie the other day and in the midst of my "whoa shite, that's awesome" moments, I thought to myself, "Hmm...it's been AGES since I've drawn a picture of Wolverine. It's saddening that I drew Phoenix - [link] , which was actually one of my most hated Marvel characters yet I've never even given a shot to my 2nd favorite character (with the first being Venom - I won't discuss why I haven't drawn him, however). ANYWAAYYYSSSS........
This is my rendition of Wolverine. For all the Wolverinemaniacs, YES I KNOW, HE HAS BLUE UNDERWEAR BUT IT WAS LEFT OUT INTENTIONALLY!!! C'mon, for Christ's sakes...do you REALLY want to see a burly man wearing blue underwear above his YELLOW spandex? Haha...I didn't think so.
Painted in Painter IX. Total time ~ 8 hours

Hahaha! Yeah, I felt like an empty void everytime I look at that picture...I mean, god, something's missing, but what is it? Then it hit me...it was the blue underwear. Wolverine really isn't the same without the blue underwear...and in a way, you could say that the underwear was what made Wolverine, Wolverine.
But for your question. Umm...let's see, pencil sketch and ink over bristol board. Scanned and colored in Painter IX with a Wacom Graphire3. Reeditted with Photoshop.

That they did, that they did. I think it was worse with Spider-Man though, where they suddenly reverted the entire story and start claiming, "ooh, oooh, the whole Ben Reilly thing never happened, no Scarlet Spider, no death of Aunt May, etc"...once it got to the point where they started to disown some of their previous ideas, I was like, this is @#$%'ed up.
However, the Ultimate series are pretty good though.
