Description
GAH WHY DID THIS TAKE SO LONG.A commission from my good friend . Took way too long due to my brain being dumb and all that jazz.
- She is hand stitched to a pattern I developed on my own. Sorry, but I'm not giving the pattern away (You'd be surprised how often I'm asked that).
- The eyes and cutie marks are a blend of appliquΓ©d felt and hand-embroidery
- MINKYminkyminky minkyminky minkyminkminkminkMINKY!
- OPPAN FILLY STYLE (OP OP OP OP, OPPAN FILLY STYLE)
Next filly in the works: Sweetie Belle!
The next one won't be a pre-paid commission, so stay tuned if you're interested.
Peace Out!

Looking at the picture (though it is a bit blurry) it looks like you used a satin stitch on the cutie mark. Am i right? If I am I could recommend a way to make her bubbles seem more full.

Had to look up the term, and yeah, it's a satin stitch.
Interested to hear about another technique though

I have this video here that helped me out when I first started. [link]
Also you may want to try using some sort of interfacing. Maybe a water soluble one or a sew in. It will help keep the pile on your fabric from showing through your stitching. You can just google around for different interfacing that work well with your fabric. I'm assuming it is minky but either way there are many types and it helps allot.
