I like the concept, but I don't really like the sprite.
I'm surprised Game Freak hasn't made a Poison/Dragon Komodo Dragon yet; I thought it was fairly obvious.

Cool~ O: Reminds me of one of those Gila Monster things I see on the Discovery channel. :3 Its way of evolving is really interesting. I guess you'd have to actually train it and make it battle to evolve, huh? :3
Nice job with the sprites. <3 It looks like it could use a little more shading on its body, but that's just my opinion.
