I can't help but wonder if Sigilyph was inspired by this creation of yours.

Well, Sigilyph and Nazkrypt were both inspired by Nazca lines, so while I doubt this design led to the actual design of Sigilyph, they at least share a common thread of inspiration.
Also, this is not my design, but that of , who is cool and amazing and all that jazz.

Whenever I draw a sprite for someone else, I use another battle background (except for a few sprites I've done). At one point, I used a spotlight, but that was a bit ugly, so I drew this.
I drew gift boxes because it's a present. Get it?!
