I like the silhouettes here. I like the sky on this too. The clouds and colours are amazing and I love how the sky is reflected in the sea. I like how the pier thing is reflected too. It gives the picture a lot of depth. I think you chose a good time to capture the light. Try flipping the photo horizontally and see if it's any better. A general rule I was told was that if the subject comes from the right inwards it draws the eye back in as you read left to right. Overall a good shot with good colour and light, but maybe a little bit too busy. The space at the top works though

I like the colour and contrast in this picture i also appreciate that you used a subject (the dock) most sunset pictures people tend to use the sunset as their subject so awesome job on stepping out of the norm on that one. the only thing i dislike about this shot is that it feels so narrow i would have like to have seen this shot in a more panoramic type view so as to get more of both the beach and the sunset into the shot. but all in all great picture

i like the horizon line where it is, i always enjoy sky shots. the border works well with the piece. the dark area at the top left is a lil distraction, but other than that you did a good job

Dappolo: i would just tone down the brightness a little bit--it takes the eyes from one extreme to the next--the overall feel i get it from it is that the pic is dark--but the clouds seem to whitewashed out to achieve a good contrast beetween light and dark and seem to superimpose the shadows here and not the reflections. I think toning down the brightness w/the clouds and toning up the brightness w/ the beach/dock would create a great shadowing affect on the dock as well as representing the reflections.

as the sun began to engulf the water and it's starting to destroy the water, it seems as if rather then reflect it seems to destroy the water.. The empty feeling of the sky feels as if it's wanting to just soak up the water and complete the circular notion of life. I love the border or the idea that it can be taken so far out there and it's wonderful.
