Description

Another day passes on the ship, and it seems like I'm finally starting to recover. Well enough at least to take the time to learn the layout of this ocean we're traveling. The doctors seem to have also finally given the okay for others to visit, so I think from now on I'll just leave my door open and let whoever wants to visit come.

I feel ashamed in myself

Letting something like that happen to me, completely foolish.

No matter what I do, I can't shake it off of my mind. Speaking to Alkaid about the situation has given me a bit more hope, but the training can't come soon enough. I'm taking too long to heal, but, I'm mortal like everyone else. I'm no special being, no legendary, I make mistakes, my mind and body are not perfect.

I wonder how Valentine, Sinch, Domingo, Annabelle, and all the others are doing. I hope they're not too worried, probably won't be too long before I get to see them again. I know at least one of them is going to kill me for this.

Hmm, that dream...

The dream I had, when all of this happened.... was he the reason I'm still alive? The wound I received should have killed me, but here I am, recovering just fine, getting another chance at life. The doctors just didn't get lucky, I'm almost convinced I was given a second chance. Maybe I really should take into consideration what he said to me...

I need to take this time to re-look my stance on life. To make sure I don't have the same fate happen once more. I want to live as old as I can, to learn everything I can in life. I need to continue my family's bloodline, so that even when I pass away, my offspring will take my place. There's just so much to do....so little time...and that little time can go away even sooner, just like that...

I've certainly been a fool... haven't I?

I suppose the first thing I should do is apologize to everyone I've hurt in the tournament. I am at fault for what I have caused, and if I am to get onto the right track, this is the first step I need to take.

The pride goes away, I've realized I'm not perfect, and I need to take the time to get better, to get better with my skills as a Dark Mage, and to get better for myself as a person.

Welp, for those who don't know, Wyatt got impaled by his own Dark Magic in the losers finals battle of the King's tournament. It had put him in critical condition and he almost died. However with the aid of the academy's doctors and apparently somebody in his dreams, Wyatt was able to survive and now is recovering in bed on the ship. He may not be able to participate in many of the activities up on the main deck but he can at least learn the navigation and what not.

While recovering, he also came into contact with Alkaid, who was watching over the injured Firefly from their Grand Finals match. The two had talked and they had formed a friendship where Alkaid would mentor Wyatt into becoming a better Dark Mage whereas Wyatt pledged alliance to Alkaid and his views (most of which he already agreed on). The boy has had a lot to think about during his time of recovery, and it's soon to change up his heart chart a bit. He's left his door open for visitors to come and see him, so if you end up rping with him, this is the point you'll get to meet him at.

Hmm, I wonder who this mysterious man was that came into Wyatt's dream.... I guess you'll have to find out when the big comic I'm working on is finished.....hopefully I don't procrastinate on it for too much longer...
