Gentle light broke through the trees as the air stood still around us as we gazed through the untouched wilderness, we could not help but be enamored by the beauty of nature. It was hard for any of us to believe that there was danger within these serene woods, but as we set foot on the unmarked path it became clear.

A cold breeze swept through the canopy, carrying the scent of wildflowers and a smell like that of incense. As told, this was the first and only warning for any trespassers; as the maiden of the woods while being described as enchanting and gentle, had no tolerance for our kind. It was said, wherever she walked vines and lush green grass sprouted in the wake of her steps. That her hair was adorned with everblooming flowers of another world. Robes as clean and white as the mountains, tied together win an azure sash.

A beauty from a long-forgotten age, wielding magic that bent nature to her will. But the real treasure was the vestiges she carried around her wrists and ankles, imbued with the primal arcane force that could shatter the creations of civilization. Thinking back, we should have heeded her first, and only warning.
