Description
Totally pimped out screenshot of Linux Mint. I can't remember if I ever gotten a screenshot of Linux Mint before, but if I did, this is the XFCE desktop environment. I tried KDE, and it was pretty but not simple. I had GNOME, it was simple, but not polished. But Xfce seems to combine the two to a nice hybrid. So I'm stuck it it.With this screenshot, I didn't want Linux to look like Aero, and I didn't want it to look like Aqua. I wanted something different, something so that Linux stands out and doesn't look like either. So I combined the Overglossed widgets with the Radial theme from Compiz Fusion, coming up with Radial Overglossed. I'm really feeling the way it looks. I'll do some more modifications on it.

Very nice. Well done! That's exactly the way I like it, dark and blue and ''digital'' type of look!
Even my website has that type of look (dark and blue). I'm obsessed with those color schemes
and have been for a long time now. I'm downloading Mint 14 Xfce right now and I will do my
best to try make it look similar to how you made yours! If anybody needs fast direct downloads
of Linux Distros, you can look here on my website. It's in the Downloads section, over 20GB of
Linux goodness, including some older versions which are hard to find (or unavailable?):

Does the Xfce edition take up less space than the Gnome version by any chance?

To an extent it does. Xfce is also a little quicker, but it seems like it's starting to get a bit bloated as Gnome now.
