Description

I've been finding real comfort in drawing how I feel at a certain moment lately.
It's not something I'm used to do because I'm always designing characters
or depicting other people's OCs, not being in touch with my feelings, so it's really nice. It helps a lot.

I based this painting on one of the songs that keep me going during the hardest times.
It's in the soundtrack of one of my favorite childhood movies, Surf's Up.
I remember relating to Cody since we share our love for surf and the feeling of not belonging.

I haven't been able to surf for years now and I miss it like hell.
I miss the sun and the sand and the waves caressing my skin.
I miss riding within the tube.
I miss doing what I love.
