OK! So I mention a year ago that I was really into my dolls! Well after some trial and error here is one of my best modification successes.The picture in the upper left corner is the base BJD(ball jointed doll) I was working on: KazeKidz Poppy- [link]
Concept: Kelpy Geisha
I modified her ears, closed her eyes, added scales to her face, and webbed her hands. I then sprayed her face and neck white (same as the Geisha face/neck paint), blushed her nails and scales with pastels, and painted her face with a mix of pastels ans acrylics.

Brilliant. The design is amazing and wonderfully subtle. I honestly didn't quite fine the webbing until a friend pointed it out, it blended that well (or I'm blind).
I will have to remember how you did the webbing on the hands, it sounds rather ingenious. I'm thinking of doing it to one of my dolls (or trying).

Cool look to the webbed hands! What do you use to modify them? Super sculpey or something of the like?

I used air dry porceline. It's slighting see-threw and comes in white. So it really looks like skin-membrane in person.

Thanks, The company that makes those glass eyes has some really wicked/wierd color combo's! i also a have a pair that are white with blue pupils.
