Pathway To The Shrine

This is a semi good looking picture of the pathway to the shrine. Since it has no been used for a long time some of the foliage has covered up its remains. Making it slightly difficult for travelers to find the hideout of the ViS and really easier on them to roam around for food.

Predators
Vis' only predators are nightmares that sometimes will show up on the Island to hunt them down. There are usually waves of Nightmares that spawn out more on Full Moon Night and then again on New Moon. During a Solar Eclipse day Nightmares are weakened and easier to annihilate. During Lunar Eclipse ViS obtain strong magic that sometimes can unlock their second form.

Diets
Vis love berries, all kinds in fact. The also like leaves especially on foggy mornings because they are nice and soaked with morning dew. They don't eat poisonous leaves so they are taught from the day they are born about the forest around them. They will never eat meat though.

Animals are their Allies
Being surrounded by Nightmares, animals also get hurt but the Vis cannot do anything about it. The only way to get a Nightmare from possessing an animal is the Vis whacking them with their staff on the head. Though they are sometimes hurt, the animals are very thankful and usually help the Vis travel by air, through the water, by land, and even underground. Animals will sometimes prevent humans from reaching the area if some are spotted. Vis can communicate with animals as well making it easier for them to get along.

Forest Depth
That would be the no no side of the forest. This is were the sealed first Nightmare lives along with all the lackeys. Vis are not allowed to go there. Only the ones who have completed their tasks ask Vis Dream Guardians can go. Even then, it's just to spy and and send messages to the Shrine of the Nightmares in the area. The depth of the forest area is over a mountain behind s shrine and is located mainly deeper within the swamp.
