Before playing FFXII I didn't think I would like Fran (bunny girls in skimpy clothing and heels aren't usually my thing), but she ended up being one of my favorite party members. Go figure.I had a hard time trying to get her facial features looking right, probably because vieras' faces are more stylized than I'm used to.

I think the face is the best part. I have to admit that her arm looks unusually long and her hand looks a tad cramped. But who knows, sometimes some poses just look odd but are correct. God knows Fran is a tall and stretched out lady.

I like how the face turned out too. I probably spent more time on it than the other parts of the drawing combined.
And thank you for pointing out the anatomy (which I agree, looks a little odd). I'm surprised I hadn't noticed that. I'm still having problems visualizing anatomy and poses without a reference... hopefully more practice combined with the figure drawing class I'm taking this summer will help.

I do that all the time with anatomy. When I draw a picture, it looks totally fine, but if I come back to it later I'll notice a lot of weird aberrations in anatomy proportions.
