Lovely contrast here! I like how the bird and the branch have opposing angles; it gives the picture a nice balance. Also, did you use a gel pen to get those outlines on the feathers, or some kind of paint or something? Either way, it's a nice effect; I think without it the wings would look kind of flat and undefined. But it works well! Even the flowers have a really nice contrast. 

Also, poofy birds are adorable.
