Hehe! Yea, I can't visualized the bg right away, i know what I want but I have to pull it out of the picture so I have to start with what I know, which is the characters. I bet there are tons of artist who would say it's the wrong way, but there is no right or wrong way in my mind :3

Yea, it's usually because the background is like fuzzy to me. I kind of know what I want back there but I can't exactly see it in my mind, so I start with the characters. You're not alone :3
