Could you maybe perhaps upload a scan or two of the comic of him with legs? the wheels look awesome and all but I'm interested.

Beast Machine had its good points and its bad points, like any series, in my not so humble opinion, but one of my favorite things about the BM series was certainly Rattrap's design, especially the comic book look where he actually has legs- beautiful legs- at least some of the time instead of just wheels- which were also cool in their own way but a little awkward looking in most ways- all of the time.
Good job! He looks very rat like in his posturing but also very machine like in design. A good balance I think!

The Beast Machines series had a comic series going for awhile. In it Rattrap had legs and wheels, but in the show he only ever had the wheels.
