And here is another of my alien species: the Kergan, a massive saurian-like humanoid, very strong and decidedly dangerous!Daz Genesis base figure, sculpted in zbrush; rendered in DS4.5 Pro only with the displacement maps exported from zbrush.

Holey Bovine! That's increadible! Dario, you do amazing work... It blows me away you got this out of the Genesis mesh considering it's so low poly. Is any of what we see a result of displacement mapping?

Yes! It's obviously a combination of morph and displacement maps! With zbrush you can subdivide the model, sculpt it at high-poly and then turn back at base resolution and generate displacement maps that approximates the scuplt details.

Why haven't the folks at DAZ been making stuff like this? You have seriously taken the Genesis model to the limits. I have a suggestion...the Caminoans from Star Wars ep2. (Attack of the clones) they had a very cool look and you could do something similar just and idea.

RawArt and Midnight_Stories do stuff like this at official DAZ. I mean, RawArt transmorphed entire Genesis from bipedal human to quadrupedal wolf. Midnight_Stories has some extreme morphs as well.
I can hardly wait for a chance of playing mix and morph!

Old forum linky, pictures are slightly broken, but if you use Firefox, there's a Greasemonkey script that links the pictures properly.
Also, blondie9999's new tutorial deals with it, and blondie9999 writes it very nice and clear how to do it (I bought the guide)

*jawdrop* Dude, I need that head and body. Please tell me that I can somehow tweak the feet to remain more human-like (although it is not a dealbreaker in any way). Please tell me that I can buy this ASAP. Oh gods please please please. Holy boopsies! This is perfect for something I need to do, like 150% perfect. *runs in circles, going squeee*
Also, if you do red-golden scaly skin (with red-yellowish belly and the rest in red, with ittibitti golden yellow highlights), I might explode from perfection.
