Eden is prolly the least evil one out of her vampiric family. To the point where she hardly drinks blood, even after the 100 years she's been dead. She still clings to her morals and beliefs she had as a human, which ultimately clashes with Septimus who thinks such things are weak.

She can't die. She's tried many times, but having the most powerful blood running through her veins makes it extremely difficult. She's miserable in a life she was given but didn't choose. She has to deal with her abusive "sister" Rosalie and a master with hardly any compassion for her struggles.
