Description
This is my entry for June's contest.Theme: to illustrate one of the Sailor warriors in action agains an enemy or monster.
Since I am working on first season anyway I decided to do one of the DD Girls and Sailor Mars...
I am not very good at fire..

Having only known the English dub version I always assumed that neither the Sailor scouts nor the DD Girls died at all. The dub gave me the impression that the DD Girls only took them prisoner one by one and locked them up in the Negaverse dungeons though Lita, Mina and Raye did give them a few painful burns and shocks through their powers. It didn't imply that anybody was killed on either side.
Tuxedo Mask/Darien was presumably badly injured too and passed out but still alive leaving Serena to face Queen Beryl charged up by the Negaforce alone. I realize that in the original the ghosts of her friends came to her side but in the context of the dub I always assumed that her friends, sensing her need for assistance in their prison cell or cells, must have astrally projected their inner beings to strengthen Sailor Moon's power to enable her to defeat Queen Beryl.

To be completely honest, I slightly prefer the English version of the Season 1 finale, even though this epic scene wasn't in it.

But I love your picture because it does make me think of the way Sailor Mars fought against them
