This costume looked totally aweosme, so I had to get a photo of this one!
There were other meru cosplayers there but she was the only one doing the dragoon form.

I think it's made from fiberglass, but I can't say for sure. I know she's local for me so I ask next time I see her!!

Yay! That's mah sister! Don't know if she's seen this pic yet, but I'm sure she'll be glad to hear ya liked it! (i had the wonderful duty of being one of her 3 wing guards... those things were hard to maintain in the main hallway between the south and west main wings, which is where it appears you took this shot) I'd love to cosplay Lavitz with her someday, but I've got other things on my costume list... still, I would love to cosplay a dragoon... it was tons of work for her to put together, but it payed off.

I know it must've been a nightmare trying to make sure some naruttard didn't come running thru one of her wings, cause he was too busy failing at activating his juitsu. I just hope it survived the con in one piece.

By some miracle, it did survive... I'm just glad we decided to drive to the con this year, instead of having to deal with checking it at the airport.

Smart move!! That's what we did to make sure our props made it there and back safely. Oh, the things we must endure for the sake of cosplay!!!

lol, I know what ya' mean! Hours of blood sweat and tears while wearing an uncomfortable costume, just to make other fans happy... we cosplayers must have a few screws loose in our heads, but it always seems worth doing again

Very true. I've found that the best way to get the most accurate photos of the costume you want to do, is to get screen captures directly from the anime. That way you can get those rarely seen back views too!!
