Well, way to go, Doug! Your "review" for the 2002 Spider-Man is so awful, it's killing poor Spider-Man!Nah, I'm kidding.
Seriously though, I was planning on uploading this meme a week earlier, but I thought, "Hmm, better not make a joke like that in the midst of all this Coronavirus chaos". Then I thought, "Meh, fuck it. If this clown can get away with making overly dark jokes, then so can I!" Plus, I really wanted an excuse to use a 60's cartoon Spider-Man meme, because 60's cartoon Spider-Man memes are the best.

She still lacks knowledge about certain things though such as when she reviews media revolving around cultures she's not familiar with. She claimed that Sailor Moon is sexist for portraying femininity in a positive light.
Oh no..when she reviewed Disney Mulan...She was imposing Western standards on Chinese culture smh. This is why you should be intersectional when reviewing foreign media or media that revolves around foreign cultures.
She claimed that Mulan refusing the Emperor's request to be his consul so that she can go home to her family is sexist because "it implies that women should not have an actual position of power" not realizing Mulan NEVER wanted to work for the Emperor in the first place, she was trying to protect her father (because he has a bad knee and could've died in the war) and bring honor to her family! Her plan was to go home after she and the other soldiers won the war. Lindsay forgot that Mulan's family was worried sick about her so if she chose to become the Emperor's consul, it would be selfish and dishonorable of her and her family would assume she's dead. Also, she refused the offer out of humbleness. As an Asian person, I understand why Mulan did what she did and not trying to be rude, people who are not Asian will have difficulty understanding unless they learned about Eastern cultures. Lindsay also forgot that in the original Mulan poem, she refused the rewards out of humbleness and went home to be with her family. Family is extremely important in Asian cultures and it's just how it is.

Yeah, this is why I still have a problem with Lindsay because she has a typical Western feminazi attitude who thinks that there should only be one type of feminism and believes that all women regardless of race, sexual orientation, and gender identity have the exact same struggles.
She called Sailor Moon "Jailbait" not realizing the show is for girls not adult women and the Sailor Senshi are not meant to be sexualized. She and Nostalgia Critic were sexualizing them.
